GUIDE IRON

With the help of a guide iron, the installation of heavy reel shafts can be facilitated. The iron is attached to the bearing of the reel shaft and with it the shaft is pushed into place in the reel. The guide iron can be used either by threading it through the coil first or by using it as a lever if the shaft is pushed into place first.
