Vicera APU 2.0 Cable Joint Stand

Vicera’s APU2.0 cable joint stand was developed together with experienced cable jointers for the installations of MV and HV cable joints and terminations. With APU2.0 work is easier, more ergonomic, and efficient to deliver. Based on significant experiences and feedback from the field, jointers rely on this to achieve higher quality of installations.

Each cable clamp of the APU2.0 cable joint stand can be adjusted to its own desired position. Cable clamps have stepless adjustment in the lateral and tilt angle directions. Even if the cable comes from the ground vertically, it is possible to attach in APU2.0 cable clamp. The height adjustment is very wide.

Cables can be attached to APU2.0 very close to the ground with an installation height of 20 cm and maximum height is 145 cm. Legs has as well multiple adjustment options and thus, it can be used in almost all kinds of joint bays. Legs can be adjusted in 180 degrees angle to place it on a cable trench. The clamps are designed to fit any MV and HV cable from 18 mm to 90 mm in outer diameter.

APU2.0 is a great “jointer mate” from the worst joint bay to the substation environment. It is used by several accessory manufacturers in trainings and demos as well!
